Join a multidisciplinary team at UHN, Canada's top research hospital, as a Registered Practical Nurse in Hemodialysis. This temporary full-time position requires applying nursing knowledge in less complex patient care scenarios while ensuring adherence to professional standards. You will closely consult with RNs for complex cases, focusing on continuous learning and reflective practice to enhance care quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply nursing process knowledge for predictable patient outcomes
• Identify and consult on abnormal patient responses
• Provide care for complex patients with RN guidance
• Ensure adherence to ethical and legislative standards
• Engage in ongoing professional development and education
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Registered Practical Nursing program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• B.C.L.S. certification and medication certificate
• Nephrology experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
