Relief Wellness Nurse at Bishop Strachan

Enhance student well-being as a Relief Wellness Nurse at The Bishop Strachan School. Provide essential clinical care and support for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 while ensuring compliance with health regulations.

This position requires strong clinical skills and experience in emergency care, responding to both students and parents. As a Relief Nurse, you will collaborate with the Student Well-being Department and manage health data for effective healthcare delivery.

Your role will also involve health assessments, medication management, and individual student care in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Student Well-being Department on health needs

• Manage health data collection and confidentiality policies

• Provide individualized nursing care in the Wellness Centre

• Attend to health emergencies and coordinate with EMS

• Support students in medication practices and vaccinations

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses

• Experience with youth in educational settings

• Strong emergency and clinical nursing skills

• Knowledge in public health and ethical nursing practices

• Excellent communication skills to engage students and families
