This part-time position involves comprehensive patient assessments and treatment plans with a multidisciplinary approach. You will engage with neurosurgery, medical oncology, and supportive care teams, managing both acute and chronic conditions while ensuring a smooth care experience for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient care and symptom management
• Participate in clinical trials and multidisciplinary pathways
• Act as a liaison among collaborating organizations
• Maintain expertise in cancer treatment modalities
• Engage in patient education using evidence-based practice
Requirements:
• Current NP registration in Ontario
• Master’s degree and five years of relevant experience
• Three years specifically in neuro-oncology
• Preferred certification in Oncology Nursing
• Strong communication and time management skills
