Critical Care Registered Nurse at Sunnybrook

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, this role requires teamwork and communication within the Critical Care Unit. Key functions include assessment, intervention, education, and upholding Patient-Focused Care principles. Your expertise is vital in delivering high-quality care while engaging with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients

• Implement intervention plans effectively within the healthcare team

• Educate patients and families on critical care processes

• Advocate for patient needs within the care team

• Support initiatives related to Patient-Focused Care

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Current BCLS certification; ACLS preferred

• Two-to-three years of clinical experience in critical care

• Critical Care Certificate or relevant experience

• Commitment to ongoing education in nursing
