Join the interdisciplinary team at Michael Garron Hospital within the Toronto East Health Network. You will apply your nursing theory and practical experience to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for oncology patients. Following the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario, you will be pivotal in delivering compassionate patient care and maintaining clinical documentation according to guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan nursing care for oncology patients
• Implement and evaluate treatment based on cancer protocols
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate clinical records and document care
• Educate patients and families about treatment options
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification needed
• Proven competence in IV therapy and patient assessment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills essential
