This role offers a chance to be at the forefront of patient recovery.
At Humber River Health, you will take the lead in providing exceptional care to patients following surgery. You will perform assessments, manage pain and airway for individual patient needs, and care for those recovering from anesthesia.
Your role will include collaboration with a resource nurse and the use of technology for efficient patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of recovering post-operative patients
• Administer advanced pain and airway management
• Care for patients post-general, local, and regional anesthesia
• Utilize technology for accurate patient documentation
• Evaluate care effectiveness with the care team
Requirements:
• Current Ontario Registered Nurse registration
• BCLS certification required
• PACU certification to be obtained within 6 months
• Current Critical Care Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute surgical experience
