Registered Practical Nurse at UHN

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply nursing process knowledge to meet patient goals

• Identify abnormal patient responses and consult with RNs

• Provide care under RN guidance for complex patients

• Ensure practices meet Ontario nursing standards

• Engage in ongoing education and reflective practice

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved Registered Practical Nursing program

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Previous experience in General Internal Medicine preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills
