Perioperative Registered Nurse at Sunnybrook

As a key member of the perioperative team, you will provide primary care for post-operative patients in phase 2 recovery. This role demands significant recent experience in post-surgical care, along with crucial skills such as arterial line monitoring and ECG experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess post-operative patients and intervene as necessary

• Provide education and advocacy for patient-centered care

• Monitor arterial lines and ECG during recovery

• Work flexibly within peri-anesthesia units

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

• Current Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

• Significant post-surgical care experience

• Acute Care Nursing Certification Course

• Venipuncture and IV Certification

• Commitment to continuing education in nursing
