As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Patient Care Manager and adhere to Neonatal Nursing Practice standards. Key responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, planning and implementing care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to support families. Your expertise in NICU practices will contribute to our patient-focused environment, aligning with the values and mission of Sunnybrook.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and implement developmentally appropriate care plans
• Educate and support parents in the NICU
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for coordinated care
• Ensure high standards of patient-focused care
• Document evaluations and outcomes of care
Requirements:
• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Level II/III NICU experience required
• NICU knowledge test passing grade of 75%
• Completion of a Level III neonatal course preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program required
