At Humber River Health, we are looking for dedicated Oncology Registered Nurses to join our team. This role involves coordinating care, administering chemotherapy, and providing patient education. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, leveraging technology to optimize processes and enhance patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy safely
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Document patient care using computerized systems
• Mentor nursing students and new staff
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• De Souza certification for chemotherapy administration
• Strong IV therapy and CVAD management skills
• Excellent communication and patient assessment abilities
