Located within Toronto’s renowned healthcare institutions, this role offers the chance to demonstrate your clinical expertise and leadership in the Emergency Department. You'll mentor fellow nursing staff, perform high-stakes assessments, and facilitate research initiatives to promote continual improvement in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough gerontological assessments for patient follow-up
• Mentor staff in advanced clinical decision-making
• Participate in education and quality improvement efforts
• Engage in relevant nursing research activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in nursing or equivalent experience
• At least five years in the acute care setting
• Preferred specialty certificate in gerontology
• Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
