In this role, you will follow established standards of care and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to assess and implement patient care plans. Your nursing expertise will ensure developmentally appropriate interventions while providing educational support to parents. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement developmentally appropriate care plans for infants
• Educate and support families during their NICU journey
• Coordinate care with health professionals
• Document patient assessments and care outcomes
• Promote high standards of patient-focused nursing practice
Requirements:
• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses is mandatory
• Level II/III NICU experience necessary
• Passing grade on Sunnybrook NICU knowledge test required
• Post-basic Level III neonatal course commitment
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required
