Health Nurse Opportunity

Position: Providence Care Health Nurse Opportunity
Join Providence Care as an Occupational Health Nurse and contribute to a safe working environment. This temporary role emphasizes health management strategies and employee wellness.

This position reports to the Director of Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness. You will provide clinical support in managing illness and injury claims while promoting health compliance.

Your role will also involve assessing workplace accommodations and collaborating closely with employees and management to foster a supportive working atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate sick benefits eligibility in line with health criteria

• Support OHSW team with health-related case management

• Assist in developing policies to minimize health risks

• Conduct communicable disease surveillance as per protocols

• Facilitate return-to-work planning and support strategies

Requirements:

• RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a health setting

• Preferred Baccalaureate degree in Nursing

• Willingness to obtain Occupational Health Nursing Certification

• Relevant disability management certification is an asset
