At times, the RN may also provide nursing care within Toronto Western Hospital's Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) service and Injection Clinic as needed.

As a member of IMPACT, the RN will be part of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program that provides team treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, and support in the community to adults with severe and persistent mental illness and a diagnosis of a primary psychotic disorder. Its interdisciplinary team includes Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Community Mental Health Workers, Peer Support Workers, Psychiatric Residents, as well as students from different disciplines.
