Reporting to the Manager in CP3 Orthopaedics, you will care for patients undergoing various joint procedures and promote health through education and support. This role involves working both independently and within a diverse team, emphasizing high-quality patient care through best practices. Your experience in acute settings will help shape patient outcomes and enrich our community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in acute orthopaedic settings
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care
• Administer IV therapies and monitor patient health post-surgery
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and education
• Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team in a supportive role
Requirements:
• Valid RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in an acute medical or surgical environment
• Proficient in various nursing skills including PCA monitoring
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to adapt in a diverse patient care setting
