You will be an integral team member reporting directly to the Manager within the CP3 unit, assisting patients in their rehabilitation and recovery journeys.
Your role will involve applying your nursing expertise in diverse scenarios including post-operative assessment and patient education. This position emphasizes quality care and a collaborative spirit in achieving successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing support within the orthopaedic patient population
• Monitor and assess patient health through various recovery stages
• Implement health promotion initiatives and patient teaching strategies
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams ensuring cohesive care plans
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety practices
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is mandatory
• Minimum of two years in acute medical nursing
• Strong skills in IV therapy and patient assessments
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a demanding healthcare environment
