As an integral part of the nursing team, the Registered Practical Nurse will ensure high-quality care while adhering to the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 (FLTCA). You will coordinate nursing assessments, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and promote dignity and choice for residents. This role involves detailed documentation, overseeing medication administration, and implementing infection prevention protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver compassionate nursing care aligned with residents' rights
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement care plans
• Communicate care updates and changes effectively
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to nursing standards
• Support nursing quality initiatives and participate in audits
Requirements:
• Current registration with the CNO as an RPN
• Commitment to person-centered care practices
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Recent CPR/BLS certification required
• Ability to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
