In this vital role, you will report to the Director of Care and engage with residents to enhance their quality of life. Your responsibilities include delivering nursing and personal care in line with established policies and ensuring effective communication with staff. You will create a welcoming atmosphere while overseeing resident care and guiding support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care as per physician’s orders

• Ensure excellent nursing and personal care delivery

• Foster teamwork and supportive environments

• Supervise Personal Support Workers effectively

• Conduct admissions and ongoing resident assessments

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses

• Experience in geriatrics or senior health preferred

• Strong judgement and risk identification skills

• Eligible to work in Canada

• Successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
