Age Care has been appointed as the manager of the Generations Toronto long-term care home and is recruiting the Nursing Unit Clerk on behalf of Generations Toronto.
TheOpportunity
This Nursing Unit Clerk is responsible for coordinating the daily staffing of the Nursing Department. This role assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and other staff members.
What Is In It For You- Assists in the coordination of staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department including replacement of staff on a daily "call in" basis and updating staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments.
- Obtains approval for overtime work from the Director of Care.
- Maintains attendance/absenteeism reports and communicates any recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care.
High School diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education an asset. Must have exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing. May be required to obtain and maintain current CPR.
Salary Range$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
