Registered Practical Nurse in Psychiatric Care

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow established RPN standards in mental health care

• Perform comprehensive assessments for crisis patients

• Facilitate patient and family teaching sessions

• Ensure medication administration is performed accurately

• Maintain compliance with hospital codes of conduct

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized RPN program

• Current membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in crisis mental health preferred

• BCLS certification and CPI training preferred

• Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills
