Elevate your nursing career at CAMH as a Registered Nurse in the Therapeutic Neighbourhood program. This full-time position emphasizes group therapy and collaborative mental health initiatives.
You will offer vital support to inpatients at CAMH’s Complex Care and Recovery Program. Skilled in identifying and addressing clients' needs, you are expected to facilitate group treatments and contribute to relevant programming. This role is key in assisting nursing students and striving for best practices in mental health nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide group-based therapeutic treatment to clients
• Identify client needs and assist in recovery goals
• Ensure nursing student supervision and collaboration
• Engage in program evaluations and quality initiatives
• Promote diversity and compliance in a collaborative setting
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of two years in psychiatric/mental health nursing
• Comprehensive skills in group facilitation
• Proficiency in crisis intervention principles
• Experience in an inpatient or community setting
