Be a key player in pediatric oncology at UHN, working part-time as a General Practitioner in the Survivorship Clinic. Focus on enhancing quality of life for cancer survivors.
UHN, Canada’s #1 hospital, is looking for a General Practitioner to join its Pediatric Aftercare Program. This role includes managing a weekly clinic dedicated to pediatric cancer survivors, offering crucial support for their physical and emotional recovery. You will coordinate multidisciplinary care while implementing tailored follow-up plans for each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care in a weekly Survivorship Clinic setting
• Apply Children’s Oncology Group guidelines for follow-up
• Communicate effectively with primary care providers
• Organize investigations and manage patient referrals
• Conduct both in-person and virtual visits as needed
Requirements:
• Licensed to practice in Ontario with a valid billing number
• Preference for candidates with acute cancer care experience
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of young cancer survivors at UHN.
