This part-time permanent role focuses on nephrology patients at Humber River Health's 9 East Unit. Expect to plan and coordinate patient care, utilize electronic documentation, and engage in preceptorship and committee activities. Your expertise in nephrology will help improve patient outcomes in a community academic hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver RN responsibilities tailored for nephrology patients
• Collaborate with health team members to coordinate care
• Maintain patient records using computerized systems
• Support nursing students through practical guidance
• Engage in departmental projects and collaborations
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Registered Practical Nursing diploma
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum one year medical experience with nephrology emphasis
• Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis techniques beneficial
• Proven skills in patient health education and safety protocols
