Join Baycrest Hospital as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) on Apotex 4, providing critical care for older adults. Deliver patient-centered health services in a collaborative environment focused on cognitive support and wellness.
This permanent part-time role requires a registered RPN dedicated to offering comprehensive quality care. You'll support patients with diverse cognitive and physical challenges while collaborating with an RN on care plans. The position emphasizes critical skills in assessments, medication delivery, and meeting individual client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with RN to deliver quality healthcare
• Plan and evaluate nursing interventions and treatments
• Provide client-centered care alongside an interdisciplinary team
• Conduct thorough client assessments
• Revise individualized care plans with Registered Nurse
Requirements:
• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred
• Certficate in Dementia Care is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
