Registered Practical Nurse at Sienna

Make a difference in senior care as a Registered Practical Nurse with Sienna at Cheltenham Community in North York. Provide compassionate nursing care while fostering relationships with residents and their families.

In this essential role, you will report to the Director of Care at the dynamic Cheltenham Community. Duties include delivering excellent nursing services, overseeing resident care plans, and creating a welcoming environment through teamwork. Experience in Geriatrics or Rehabilitation is a plus, as you will support a diverse team dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care per established policies and resident care plans

• Deliver excellent personal and nursing support to residents

• Supervise Personal Support Workers on the unit

• Communicate effectively with residents and families about care

• Conduct ongoing assessments for residents' needs

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Experience in Geriatrics or senior health is preferred

• Ability to identify risks and ensure positive team dynamics

• Completion of Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Record Checks

• Commitment to inclusive care and diverse environments
