In this vital role, you will report directly to the Director of Quality, Risk and Occupational Health. As an Occupational Health Practitioner, you’ll conduct health assessments and manage WSIB claims, while collaborating with HR and various stakeholders. Your experience in clinical evaluations and disability management will contribute to fostering a safe workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health assessments for employees and evaluate needs
• Provide first aid and follow-up care for workplace injuries
• Manage end-to-end WSIB claims communication and coordination
• Oversee infection prevention and vaccination programs
• Facilitate education sessions on workplace health and safety
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Nursing required
• Current Registered Nurse certification in Ontario
• Minimum 2 years in Occupational Health experience
• Critical thinking and complex decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
