Bringing expertise as a BSO Registered Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive nursing care and guiding Personal Support Workers in their duties. Your ability to liaise with other healthcare providers is crucial for ensuring the well-being of residents. You will actively evaluate and improve care processes within the household, reinforcing high standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies with the nursing team
• Input revisions for care procedures and guidelines
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff
• Quickly notify physicians of residents’ status changes
• Guide Personal Support Workers within their roles
Requirements:
• Strong foundation in long-term care nursing
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of required nursing legislation and practices
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Dedication to enhancing residents’ care
