This position offers part-time permanent employment within the Acute Inpatient Medicine Program, specifically serving nephrology patients. Your responsibilities will include patient care planning, documentation utilizing health technology, and mentoring students. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will make a significant impact on patient health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide RN care for nephrology-focused patients
• Develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Document patient interactions using electronic health records
• Mentor nursing students through hands-on preceptorship
• Contribute to project teams and hospital committees
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Practical Nursing program
• Active RPN designation with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent nephrology experience of at least one year
• Preferred expertise in peritoneal dialysis methods
• Competent in intravenous therapy and patient education
