You'll report directly to the Manager of Hospital Programs, conducting clinical evaluations and managing donor care in collaboration with healthcare teams. Your responsibility extends to interacting with families, optimizing organ yield, and ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout the donation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess potential donors accurately and efficiently
• Work with families to facilitate the donation process
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams
• Optimize organ function through medical management
• Facilitate the surgical recovery of organs and tissues
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a Diploma or
B.Sc. in Nursing
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Three years of critical care or relevant organ donation experience
• Strong communication skills in clinical settings
• Flexible availability for shifts, including weekends
