As the Registered Practical Nurse - BSO, you will focus on applying your expertise in behavioral health and responsive care. Collaborating closely with the care team, you will develop and implement care strategies tailored to individual resident needs. This is an opportunity to enhance the quality of life for residents while ensuring compliance with care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver person-centered care to improve residents' self-esteem
• Conduct random assessments utilizing behavioral tools
• Monitor care plans and conduct weekly rounds
• Facilitate quality improvement and training activities
• Engage with stakeholders to coordinate care
Requirements:
• Valid certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years of practical nursing experience
• Knowledge of behavioral training approaches required
• Excellent team collaboration and communication abilities
• Registration eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association
