Become a Registered Practical Nurse for the Hemodialysis Unit at UHN, where exceptional patient care is a priority. Help manage chronic conditions through dedicated, compassionate care.

This temporary full-time role within the E.W. Bickle Centre requires providing comprehensive nursing services to patients undergoing Hemodialysis. You will play a key role in educating patients and ensuring adherence to care plans in collaboration with a talented inter-professional team. Ideal applicants will have robust nursing skills along with a commitment to professional growth and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate patients on their treatment and health needs

• Collaborate with a specialized healthcare team

• Contribute to personalized care planning

• Deliver nursing care within practice scope

• Mentor students in a teaching hospital environment

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Diploma as an RPN from an accredited program

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification needed

• Experience in hemodialysis or complex care beneficial

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
