UHN Cardiac Testing Specialist

Become a Cardiac Testing Specialist at UHN, Canada's top hospital, providing excellent cardiovascular care in Toronto. This role focuses on patient assessments and cardiac test management.

At the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, you will be an integral part of our outpatient clinics that cater to diverse cardiac needs. Your responsibilities include conducting various cardiac tests such as ECGs and stress tests while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality. Collaborating with physicians, you’ll document information in Epic and assist in delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage patient safety before examinations

• Perform cardiac testing and follow CSCT standards

• Collect and document patient data accurately

• Analyze test results to create reports for physicians

• Ensure emergency equipment readiness at all times

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiology program

• Preferred certification with CSCT

• 2 years of related experience preferred

• Skills to interpret ECGs effectively

• Current BCLS certification
