In this pivotal role, you will work closely with Oncology leadership and care teams to ensure effective leukemia treatment plans, focusing on patient consultations and management throughout their journey. You'll provide dynamic educational support while collaborating on quality improvement initiatives and participating in groundbreaking research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide care for shared leukemia patients with providers
• Manage transitional care for blood and marrow transplants
• Consult on complex management scenarios
• Lead teaching initiatives for staff and families
• Engage in ongoing quality and research projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing;
Master’s preferred
• Current nursing license in Ontario, BCLS certified
• Five years of clinical practice experience
• Preferred:
Oncology Nursing Certification
• Strong organization and communication skills
