As a Registered Nurse Specialist, you will guide the donation process from initial assessment to documentation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure optimal organ donation outcomes. Your clinical expertise will play a critical role in saving lives through effective donor management and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support to families during donations
• Conduct clinical assessments of potential organ donors
• Partner with health care providers for successful donations
• Maintain precise documentation in compliance with guidelines
• Engage in on-call shifts and travel as needed
Requirements:
• Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum three years in critical care or organ donation
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications
• Valid G driver’s license and vehicle access
