Become a Nurse Practitioner at The Village of Humber Heights! This permanent full-time position is centered around providing compassionate and effective geriatric care.
In your role as a Nurse Practitioner, you will partner with another NP to focus on resident health through quality improvement and comprehensive assessments. Leading palliative care services and working closely with clinical teams will be essential in this fulfilling position located in Etobicoke. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive geriatric assessments
• Lead resident-focused palliative care initiatives
• Oversee diagnostic testing and interpretation
• Actively enhance clinical quality improvement processes
• Build meaningful interactions with residents and families
Requirements:
• Valid Nurse Practitioner registration with Ontario
• Current CPR certification and AIS certification
• Leadership experience in healthcare settings
• Knowledge of regulations affecting long-term care
• Strong relational and communication skills
