In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior management to oversee care activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Your involvement will include staff education, health, safety, and infection control programs. You will review and audit care plans and documentation, taking action to address resident or family concerns effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize resident care activities in accordance with policies
• Collaborate with the Registered Staff and RAI-MDS Coordinator
• Audit Point Click Care documentation for compliance
• Review resident care plans quarterly for accuracy
• Address and resolve resident and family concerns promptly
Requirements:
• Knowledge in geriatric and long-term care nursing
• Familiarity with relevant Acts and regulations
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Postgraduate studies in nursing considered an asset
• Commitment to high-quality resident care
