As a member of the Critical Care Unit, you'll engage in caring for cardiac and surgical patients requiring intensive care. This role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, patient-focused care. Candidates should be prepared to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends, ensuring continuous support for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care to critically ill medical and surgical patients
• Monitor hemodynamic status through invasive and non-invasive methods
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for effective patient care
• Document care accurately through digital systems
• Involve in committees or projects to enhance care delivery
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with Ontario’s College of Nurses
• At least 2 years of Critical Care experience required
• Critical Care Certificate is mandatory
• Ability to navigate computerized documentation systems
• Strong organizational and assessment skills required
