Your responsibilities will include complete patient assessments, providing education and emotional support to families, and executing thorough discharge planning. Regular rotations to the Surgical Day Care and proficiency in specimen collection and phlebotomy are integral to this role. Work within a team that embraces advanced technology and a commitment to patient-centered care in North America’s first fully digital hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and provide total care for paediatric patients
• Support parents and families through education
• Oversee effective discharge planning for patients
• Rotate through Surgical Day Care as assigned
• Perform specimen collection and phlebotomy duties
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• BCLS/CPR certification upon employment
• NRP certification required or agreement to obtain
• PALS certification required within six months
• Current experience in paediatrics is a must
