Join the Surgical Day Care team at Humber River Health as a Registered Nurse. This part-time, permanent role requires a passion for patient care and teamwork across flexible weekday shifts.

As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative support. Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members and effective documentation through electronic systems will be crucial in this dynamic environment. The ability to work staggered shifts will enhance our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative care to patients

• Coordinate care planning with team members

• Use computerized systems for patient care documentation

• Participate in hospital committees as required

• Provide thorough teaching and support to patients

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum 2 years of surgical experience

• Skills in IV therapy initiation

• Strong patient assessment and communication skills

• Awareness of equity and inclusion in healthcare
