Your role as Registered Nurse (Night)Dialogue is looking for a Registered Nurse to take part in our mission to help people improve their wellbeing. Your role will be to ensure the evaluation, care, and referral of patients consulting on our platform by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will closely collaborate with our virtual team to ensure a seamless experience all throughout the patient care journey.
Whatyou'll be doing
- Assessing patients via telephone or video and identifying key symptoms.
- Referring patients to appropriate health services based on clinical assessment (clinic, emergency or virtual appointment with a practitioner).
- Providing advice on symptom management at home.
- Prescribing group prescriptions according to your virtual scope of practice.
- Documenting consultations and following up with patients as needed.
We'd love to hear from you if you have
- Excellent written and spoken English and French.
- 2+ years of experience
- Availability to work at least 21 hours a week, on the evening and night shift including weekends
- An active and valid nursing license to practice in Quebec
- Knowledge and mastery of vaccination (PIQ), contraception, and STI screening and treatment are assets
- Experience in an expanded role, community or primary care preferred, emergency or critical care experience, and a license from other Canadian Provinces are an asset
- Autonomy, professionalism, adaptability and thoroughness
- Work shifts: Evenings and nights
- Hours: Between 5pm-7am
