Cardiology Registered Nurse - Part-Time

Position: Cardiology Registered Nurse - Permanent Part-Time
Be part of UHN's Inpatient Cardiology Unit as a Registered Nurse, providing top-tier care in a renowned healthcare setting. This part-time position allows for impactful nursing practice in cardiac care.

In this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to assess and manage patients with various cardiac conditions. Candidates are expected to bring strong clinical skills and be adaptable to the dynamic needs of the unit while delivering compassionate patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient assessments and interventions for cardiology patients

• Apply nursing best practices in medication management

• Collaborate with team members for optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate telemetry and clinical documentation

• Support patient education regarding cardiac conditions

Requirements:

• Valid RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• At least one year of experience in cardiac nursing preferred

• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and pacemaker management

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in shifts
