UHN is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for its Hemodialysis unit on a six-month contract. You will play a crucial role in providing competent nursing care, consulting with RNs, and making informed decisions for patient outcomes. This fast-paced role involves cross-functional responsibilities and contributing to the continuous education of your nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply nursing process knowledge for patient care
• Identify and consult on abnormal patient responses
• Provide care under RN direction for complex cases
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethics
• Engage in professional lifelong learning opportunities
Requirements:
• Completion of approved Registered Nursing program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Preferred:
Nephrology and Acute Care experience
• Effective organizational and communication skills
