In this role, you’ll report directly to the Operating Room Manager while caring for patients in surgical settings. Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and successful completion of an operating room postgraduate course is essential for applicants. A minimum of two years of recent operating room experience is required for candidates not completing the course, as well as a commitment to best practices in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer high-level nursing care in surgical settings
• Collaborate seamlessly with the surgical team
• Prioritize patient safety and health compliance
• Maintain clear communication with patients and relatives
• Participate in regular training and education sessions
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification in BCLS is mandatory
• 2 years OR experience required or equivalent course completion
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Dedicated to fostering a positive work atmosphere
