Operating Room Registered Practical Nurse Position

As an RPN at Michael Garron Hospital, you'll work directly under a Registered Nurse, assisting during surgical procedures and ensuring optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in scrubbing for major and minor surgical procedures

• Maintain patient care during pre, intra, and post-operative phases

• Set up and care for ambulatory procedure patients

• Comply with safety policies and contribute to quality initiatives

• Engage in effective communication with patients and families

Requirements:

• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 2-5 years of surgical suite experience required

• BCLS certification required

• Ability to perform physical tasks adequately

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
