Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor the condition of CVICU patients
• Educate patients and families on care procedures
• Advocate for patients in alignment with person-centred care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care
• Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making in critical situations
Requirements:
• Current Ontario College of Nurses registration
• BCLS and preferred ACLS certification
• Critical Care Certificate and CVICU experience
• Completed CVICU entrance quiz
• Commitment to continuing education in cardiovascular care
