Join Toronto General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Vascular & Cardiovascular Surgery. This temporary full-time role involves 12-hour shifts on a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
The Registered Nurse will ensure compassionate and competent patient care according to the UHN Professional Practice Model. Candidates should have one year of Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Monitoring experience. Ongoing education in cardiac nursing, alongside strong interpersonal skills, is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality collaborative patient care
• Apply nursing science and critical decision-making skills
• Adjust practice based on reflective evaluations
• Maintain professional ethics in nursing duties
• Participate in cross-functional tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
• Minimum one year Cardiac Surgery experience
• Excellent organization and communication skills

B.Sc.N preferred
