This permanent, full-time role requires an RPN who is passionate about excellence in clinical practice within an inter-professional setting. You will provide compassionate care, effective problem-solving, and mentorship to newcomers while upholding UHN’s standards. Leveraging evidence-based approaches, you will engage in care planning and evaluation processes to improve patient and family health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and evaluate patient nursing care collaboratively
• Implement care with a focus on clinical best practices
• Mentor RPN students and new staff members
• Participate in inter-professional team care planning courses
• Ensure compliance with patient safety policies
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Diploma in Practical Nursing
• Experience in neuroscience nursing preferred
• Commitment to professional development
• Knowledge of standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario
