UHN, Canada’s top hospital, seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Krembil Brain Institute team. You will work primarily in inpatient neurosurgical/spine units, utilizing advanced clinical skills to manage complex patient care. The role involves leadership responsibilities, enhancing nursing knowledge, and contributing to policy development for patient improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply advanced nursing theories and clinical competence
• Assess and interpret patient health data
• Diagnose and treat complex health responses
• Lead quality improvement and administrative functions
• Facilitate nursing education and professional development
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing with NP certification
• 3-5 years of nursing experience in acute care settings
• Familiarity with spinal and neurosurgical conditions
• Certification in Neuroscience Nursing preferred
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
