Cogir Senior Living seeks Registered Practical Nurses for retirement residences offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care. RPNs provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care under provincial standards. They build trusted relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams through ongoing communication. The role includes evaluating care plans, maintaining documentation, and supporting unregulated care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and teams
Implement and evaluate care plans
Complete accurate clinical assessments and documentation
Teach, delegate, direct, and mentor care providers
Requirements:
Current provincial registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
Sound clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
