Level III Critical Care Registered Nurse

Provide primary care for Level III medical-surgical critical care patients as a Registered Nurse ly critical thinking in a patient-focused environment.

This Registered Nurse position supports patients and families alongside a multidisciplinary team. Practice follows College of Nurses standards, Sunnybrook Nursing Practice standards, and Sunnybrook’s mission and values. The role requires current critical care expertise, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.

• Provide primary care for Level III critical care patients
• Support patients and families in a patient-focused environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Integrate critical thinking into patient care
• Apply Sunnybrook Nursing Practice standards consistently

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Current BCLS certificate and recognized Critical Care Course
• Three years of current Level 2 or 3 critical care experience
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• Effective communication, organization, priority-setting, and problem-solving abilities
